What services does Piccolo Hearing offer?

We offer comprehensive hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings with real-ear measurement verification, follow-up care and adjustments, advanced 3D ear impressions, hearing aid repairs and maintenance, custom hearing protection, tinnitus management, and community educational seminars.

How do I know if I need a hearing test?

Common signs that you may benefit from a hearing assessment include: difficulty understanding speech in noisy environments, frequently asking people to repeat themselves, turning up the TV louder than others prefer, feeling that people are mumbling, or difficulty hearing on the phone. If any of these apply to you, we recommend scheduling an assessment.

How long does a hearing test take?

A comprehensive hearing assessment at Piccolo Hearing typically takes 60–90 minutes. This includes the testing itself, a review of your hearing history, and a thorough explanation of your results with personalized recommendations.

Do you accept insurance?

We work with many insurance plans. Coverage for hearing care varies significantly by plan. We recommend contacting us with your insurance information so we can help determine your benefits before your appointment.

Do you offer financing for hearing aids?

Yes. We offer financing options including CareCredit, and we accept HSA and FSA accounts. We'll work with you to find a solution that fits your budget.

Do you offer services in languages other than English?

Yes! We proudly serve our multilingual community in Duluth, GA. We have staff who speak Korean, and we strive to accommodate patients who prefer to communicate in other languages.

What hearing aid brands do you carry?

We carry devices from all major hearing aid manufacturers and can recommend the best technology for your specific hearing profile, lifestyle, and budget. Contact us for details on current brands available.

How often should I have my hearing tested?

Adults with normal hearing should have a baseline hearing assessment and then be re-tested every 10 years until age 50, and every 3 years after that. If you already wear hearing aids or have known hearing loss, annual assessments are recommended.
